What is Radiation Island?
Set within a parallel, alternate reality resulting from the Philadelphia Experiment, Radiation Island lands players inside of a massive open world environment where they must find their own path and fight for survival all while discovering the secrets that this perilous world has to offer! From traversing through breathtaking landscapes, to exploring abandoned villages and even old military compounds, players will first need to gather resources that are absolutely vital to their survival.
As players undertake their journey and make their way deeper into the landscape, they will need to find both tools and weapons to assist them throughout this adventure. Though with the threat of starvation, players will need to find food quickly by hunting wild animals, catching fish, or even gathering fruit if they stand any chance for survival. Though fighting off hunger is only half the battle, as this gigantic world is filled with all sort of dangerous creatures - both living and undead.
It's important that players do not mistake the immense size and incredible beauty of this bizarre world as a measure of safety, as many perils await around each corner. From dangerous wildlife like bears, mountain lions and wolves, to even enraged zombies, there are all sorts of creatures lurking about. But the struggle for survival in this world does not stop there, as harsh and unpredictable weather patterns, strange anomalies, and radiation make even the most difficult journeys look like a simple vacation in comparison. With a full day and night cycle, players will need to brave the darkness and ward off the cold as well.
